The Beginning

Greetings Webworld!

During the coming months this blog will hopefully gather entries as I embark on a very exciting and so-scary-I-may-cry experience. I'm going to be graduating college soon with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and moving my butt (and with any luck, my sanity as well) from Maryland to Ohio to start my "new" life as a not-so-college-student. Make no mistake, I'm sure I will retain many qualities of a college student such as broke, and that uncanny ability to live in pajama pants. I'll try to post entries on my failed and successful attempts at being an adult so you can laugh with me about how much room I have to grow (tomorrow I'm making dinner rolls from scratch...yeast and all! In case you want to join in the fun you can find the recipe here at one of my FAVORITE blogs ever: OurBestBites).

For now though, I will leave you with this wonderful poem from one of my favorite poets, Robert Frost.

The Road Less Traveled

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth

Then took the other as just as fair
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear
Though as for that, the passing there
Had worn them really about the same

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet, knowing how way leads onto way
I doubted if I should ever come back

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence
Two roads diverged in a wood
And I took the one less traveled by
And that has made all the difference

So we shall see the difference it makes!
